The Municipality of Serres , within the framework of its social and cultural offer, founded in 1996 the Center of Natural Environment Protection – Museum of Natural History . The Museum is lodged at a special constructed building owned by the Hunting Club of Serres, located at the 1 st km Serres – Holy Monastery of Timios Prodromos.

It is open to the public and we believe that it contributes to the more extended information of the visitors, concerning the natural environment of our country.
